LONGPAW'S SERVICES

TERMS
A visit consists of a 20 to 30 minute period in which Longpaw will walk your dog, feed your pets, clean litter boxes, provide fresh drinking water, administer medications, clean up any "accidents", and ensure your pet is safe and in good health.

Additionally, Longpaw will bring in your mail and newspapers, put out trash on collection day, check that your house is secure, and turn on lights and open and close curtains to give your home an occupied look while you are away.

Longpaw will also transport your pet to your veterinarian or animal emergency clinic should the need arise while you are away or otherwise unavailable. The cost of this service will be determined by the length of time to provide it and the travel involved.

Extended visits of up to 1 hour may be provided at the pet owner's request for an additional cost per visit of $7 for a Daily Visit and $8 for a Pet Sit Visit.

DAILY VISIT   
Primarily for pets that need a mid-day potty break, socialization, or exercise while their owner is at work. The visit most often consists of walking dogs and providing lunch or treats as requested by the owner.
RATE: $14 per visit

PET SIT VISIT
Primarily for pets that remain at home while their owners are away from home for a long weekend or vacation. The visit most often consists of providing meals, administering medications, walking dogs, cleaning litter boxes, and overall monitoring of the owner's home. The frequency of visits is normally three times a day for dogs and once a day for cats and other small animals.
RATE: $16 per visit


LONGPAW'S POLICIES AND PRACTICES
HOURS OF OPERATION
Longpaw's "office" hours are from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. Voice and email messages and inquiries will be responded to within 24 hours of their receipt. Clients returning home from being away for more than one day (see Follow Up Visits policy below) and clients canceling scheduled services are encouraged to phone or email any time of the day or night to avoid additional charges. Longpaw's voice and email are checked routinely throughout the day and always the first thing in the morning to retrieve such messages.
VISIT CANCELLATIONS
Visits canceled within less that 24 hours of the time the visit is scheduled will be billed at the full contracted cost of the visit.
FOLLOW UP VISITS
IMPORTANT: I am committed to ensuring that your pets are healthy, safe and being cared for. I request that my clients notify me when they return home after being away. It is my policy to provide your pets with a follow-up visit at the contracted cost of a visit if I am not notified. If you have used my services please contact me by phone or email upon your return to avoid the cost of an additional visit.
